ASA Recruitment’s well-known public sector client is looking for an experienced Programme Management Office Lead for an initial 2 Month contract with the possibility of extension.
The post holder will join a programme that aims to get up to 55,000 people online with a package of device, data, training and support. The programme has recently undertaken a review of programme governance and management and this role will support the implementation of its findings.
Responsibilities:
· Lead Programme management office
· Report to the Programme SRO and Programme Director to ensure it is well positioned for success
· Lead preparation and engagement in Gateway review process
· Ensure programme governance works effectively and efficiently, including Programme Governance Board, Project Board and Advisory Board meetings
· Programme planning
· Communicate with stakeholders and develop business relationships relating to the Project
Requirements:
· Experience of Leading a Programme Management Office
· Stakeholder Engagement and Communications
· Managing Successful Programmes, PRINCE2 and Agile Project Management and Delivery methods
· Programme governance and financial management
· Experience of managing cross-organisation/ cross-sector programmes
