ASA are recruiting experienced Support Workers across Edinburgh and the Lothians including EH4, EH10 and EH16. We are looking for Support Workers that are keen to make a positive difference to vulnerable people’s lives and assist them with day to day activities from personal care to being a friendly companion.

About the Role
As a support worker you will be required to help people with daily tasks such as meal preparation, moving and handling, cleaning/laundry, administering medication, helping with finances, keeping reports up to date, assisting them to the toilet and washing, all whilst encouraging them to be independent.

Who we are looking for
ASA are looking for a compassionate Support Workers with experience of working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviour. You must have at least 6 months Support Work experience in the UK, be educated to at least SVQ 2 level, must be eligible to work in the UK and have a current PVG. You must be considerate, treat each task with dignity and have a positive outlook.
