Are you a Business Partner looking for a new and challenging opportunity for the New Year?

ASA Recruitment’s well-known public sector client is looking for a Business partner who will be responsible for programme management and business support activities across the education, organisational and learning development functions within the Workforce Directorate. The successful post holder will provide business administration, project, event and financial management across the Workforce Directorate and will be involved in a varied and responsible workload.

Responsibilities include:
· Manage the Business Support & Improvement team to support activities within this function
· Act as the focal point for the Operation Planning process within the Directorate, ensuring all resource demands are captured, additionally ensuring the supply solution meets requirements
· Take the lead / co-lead on projects to support the achievement of department objectives.
· Work with the senior management team to establish regular data and reporting needs and coordinate returns as per corporate governance processes.
· Analyse and present a wide range of complex information to a range of audiences.
· Provide project management support and advice
· Maintain learning management and electronic storage systems
· Use communication and survey systems
· Provide end-to-end financial management support including purchase to pay activities and budget analysis
· Have a focus on improvement.
· Support / advise on corporate systems and processes
· Work with external suppliers to commission people / resources / solutions

Essential skills include:
· Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with the immediate team and internal/external stakeholders
· Experience in the creation of budgets and forecasts
· Able to manage a complex workload with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
· Strong communication skills to negotiate, persuade and influence
· Articulate and influential, you must also be highly organised with exceptional communication and leadership skills
· High level of MS package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
· Ability to communicate with all staff in a multidisciplinary setting
