Care Assistant

ASA have a brilliant opportunity for experienced Care Assistants based in Edinburgh. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to work either day or night shifts in residential care homes across the city. There are a number of vacancies in various care homes, postcodes include EH4, EH5, EH6 and EH7.

If you have a background in care home work, based in Edinburgh and are looking to work full time or part time this is the job for you!

Due to the current climate, successful candidates will be allocated to one care home for the foreseeable future. This is to reduce the transmission of infection between care homes. The responsibilities of our Care Assistants will include personal care, assisting residents with eating and drinking and day to day activities.

To be considered for this role you must have:
· At least 6 month UK based healthcare experience
· A current PVG
· Current SSSC registration
· Right to work in the UK

In return, ASA will offer you
· Competitive rate of pay starting at £9.30 with an increase after 13 weeks of work
· Holiday hour accrual which can be taken at any time within your holiday year
