ASA recruitment is working exclusively with JS Parker Ltd to recruit a Team Leader.

The position is a 40 hour per week position responsible to the client via the Case Manager of JS Parker. The hours are broken down as a 24.5 hour care shift (10am-10.30am Inc. sleepover) and 16 hours managerial work per week. Home working is required for some of your managerial hours.
You will be employed by the client and your work will be supported, trained and supervised by JS Parker.

You will work closely with the client’s family to provide a person centred care approach with guidance and supervision from JS Parker Ltd’s Case Manager.

Team leader responsibilities:
· Lead responsibility in ensuring the highest standards of care and support to meet the individual needs of the client
· Liaise with family members, medical and healthcare professionals to co-ordinate and maintain appointments, therapies and support strategies
· Work with the client’s therapists and assist with agreed rehabilitation strategies and techniques
· Write, review and maintain support plans, risk assessments and financial documentation and recording systems
· Identify recreational and leisure activities and support the client to participate in these
· Keep accurate records of work completed and communicate this with the Case Manager, team members and therapists
· Ensure confidentiality in all matters relating to the client

Other duties include:
· Ensuring a high standard of personal care and continence care
· Providing nutritional meals
· Supporting the client in the community and engaging in activities within the home
· Acting as a driver for the client
· Undertaking domestic duties to maintain a positive living and working environment
· Providing sleepover support
· To accompany the client on holidays and weekends away when required

What you will need:
· Clean driving licence
· The right to live and work in the UK
· Experience of direct client management and leading a team
· Proven ability to work at a level commensurate with SVQ 7 or HND’
· PVG registration
· 2 recent references supporting your client management and team leader roles.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook
