Catering Assistant

ASA Recruitment are eager to speak to experienced Catering Assistants to work as part of catering teams based in various Schools and Care Homes within Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. ASA are keen to speak with applicants as soon as possible as we do have shifts available and once working restrictions are lifted the staffing requirements will increase making it a great opportunity for you to register now.

**Applicants who hold a PVG certificate are desirable but not essential as you can apply for a PVG through ASA during the registration process. We ask those with a PVG to update your existing PVG through ASA before starting work**

As a Catering Assistant your duties will include:

• Assisting in food preparation
• General cleaning of the kitchen and restaurant areas
• Preparing dining areas to create a safe and enjoyable environment
• Maintaining a clean hazard free kitchen and dining area

Desired qualities include:

• Flexibility between different areas of catering
• Capability to follow instruction and communicate effectively
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Basic health and safety knowledge
