ASA Recruitment are looking to add a number of cooks to our talented team and are keen to speak to any fully qualified cooks with previous experience within a care home, day centre or similar environment as soon as possible due to increased demand from our clients.

If you are already a qualified cook but have no previous experience within the care environment don’t worry you will not be turned away. You will however need to consider applying for a PVG certificate at the price of £59 (updating your current PVG is £18.00).

All applicants should have:

• Own transport and clean driving license (desirable but not essential)
• At least 6 months UK experience in a similar role
• Experience working with fresh food produce
• A good knowledge of HACCP and COSHH practices
• Food hygiene and allergen certificates essential

Joining the ASA Hospitality team will enable you to manage the hours you work through our easy accessible online portal, this allows you to update your availability and view your work schedules. ASA entitles you with holiday pay which is accrued hourly. You will also receive an induction for every new site you are placed.
