Our client within the public sector based in the Scottish borders is looking for a 365 Technical Consultant. This would be initially a three month contract starting in January 2020.
The requirement for a 365 Hands-on Technical Consultant to “technically own” out Exchange 2013 hybrid environments. To work with Microsoft FAST Track to manage the migration of mailboxes from the Exchange 2013 environment to Exchange Online.
Although they have their own premise environment already connected to Exchange online, it would be good to have a highly experienced technical consultant with a deep knowledge of O365, particularly Exchange online.
Our client is looking for a Technical Office365 consultant who can have “hands-on” involvement with our planned email migrations.
The successful applicant would need to technically lead and perform full migrations, up to 4200 mailboxes. The successful applicant would need to direct and technically lead the work of less experienced engineers.
The successful applicant would lead the support of migrated email users.
Essential experience:
* Previous Exchange 2013 Hybrid configuration and management experience
* Previous Exchange Online migration experience
* Five plus years of O365 migration and management experience
* Previous Exchange online technical support and administration experience
* Previous experience of at least two previous office 365 mail migrations
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Teams implementation/configuration and management
* Experience in mentoring and coaching technical staff.
* Experience of working with Microsoft FAST track migration teams
* Relevant Microsoft certification in messaging/exchange/o365
Please note this role may require a Basic Disclosure and core hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
There is an opportunity to work this contract remotely and only be on site for key times as required by the client.
