Engagement Manager

Description

Our Public Sector client is looking for an experienced Engagement Manager for an initial 3 month contract in Edinburgh. The postholder will work alongside the Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager to design a programme of engagement and events that support the digital transformation of planning.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities and focus areas
• Coordinate and implement the programme of engagement and events
• Ensure the focus is on both proactive and reactive engagement
• Translate ideas and opportunities into tangible outputs
• Work with the Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager to prioritise engagement and events activities
• Link event and engagement with communication and all strategic activities

Requirements:

• Ability to manage stakeholder engagement activities
• Experience in measuring tangible outcomes from engagement and events
• Must have a core engagement and events management skill set
• Experience of providing engagement and events support in a project/programme environment
