Our client in Dundee are looking to recruit an Interim Organisational Development ( OD ) Advisor on an initial 3 month placement with the option to extend for a further 3 months. The main purpose of the role will be to lead on developing and consulting on people management policies as well as supporting ongoing OD improvement projects.
The typical working week will be Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm with a day rate of £90 PAYE plus holiday accrual
Essential experience requirements:
* Significant experience of supporting the delivery of projects and strategies covering a broad range of people-related issues, encompassing OD, HR and Employee Development
* Significant experience of developing robust and effective people management policies
* Operational HR experience
* Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable track record of successful delivery
* Workload planning and prioritisation
* Experience of producing performance reports and contributing to the development of performance metrics
* Experience of working in partnership with Trade Unions
Skills and knowledge:
* Understanding of key external developments and trends in OD / HR / ED and the opportunities these offer to the organisation
* Strong facilitation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of internal stakeholders
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice with ability to develop HR policies and procedures
* Ability to provide positive and constructive challenge
* Excellent communicator and influencer, both verbally and in written form
* Ability to translate plans into action
* Commitment to Equality and Diversity issues
* IT literate, using the most effective methods to communicate and manage information
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and distill key themes from a broad range of complex information
* Demonstrate understanding of the social and health care agenda
* Ability to coach colleagues to become more effective in meeting organisational requirements
Education and Qualifications:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* CIPD qualified
The postholder will be required to have a current Standard Disclosure and be willing to undertake travel between various sites throughout the country
