Are you a confident and outgoing individual with a background in administration looking for your next role in the public sector?

ASA are currently working alongside a large-scale client in the public sector who are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual with excellent initiative, communication and organisational skills to provide administrative support to their team with offices based in Glasgow, Livingston or Dundee.

Role Responsibilities:

· Develop, maintain, and enhance processes and practices to efficiently manage travel services, incorporating health, safety, and sustainability considerations.
· Process travel and accommodation requests, researching options, and providing timely confirmation of bookings along with relevant advice.
· Compile and report on travel management information, including sustainability performance metrics.
· Serve as a primary contact for staff queries, ensuring exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
· Assist in overseeing the Travel Services contract by gathering and transmitting feedback, attending meetings, and managing invoice processing.

· Assist in the preparation of corporate sustainability, climate change, and health and safety reports, offering guidance and advice.
· Provide support for various team roles, such as Reception or Enquiries, when necessary.
· Play a role in continuously improving the working processes and practices of both the team and the wider organisation.

Essential Criteria:

· Excellent organisational skills and skilled in efficiently managing tasks and juggling multiple priorities to meet deadlines effectively.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and collaborate efficiently.
· Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel IT packages.
· Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of analysing information to generate reports and recommendations for system, process, and performance enhancements.
