About the Client:
Our client is a leading charity supporting older and younger adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs. They provide support across the north east of Scotland and ASA are excited to be working them in the Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. There are four locations within the town of Stonehaven that you might potentially be working at.

Your Opportunity:
As a Support worker with ASA you in Stonehaven, there are various sites for you to work at including housing support, day service and support at home. You can expect to be working with a range of individuals of different ages with varying support needs so each shift is varied and will keep you on your toes. Shifts available cover week days and weekends and may be morning or afternoon but longer 24.5 hour sleepover shifts are also available.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with autistic individuals and be ready to offer a range of support needs depending on the individual. Applicants should be reliable and committed to work with a friendly and caring nature.

Responsibilities Include:
· Personal care – support with washing, dressing, toileting and eating.
· Taking part in household tasks while encouraging the people you support to get involved.
· Supporting individuals out to access the community and hobbies.
· Provide the highest quality of care and support based on individual needs.
· Working to routines to make sure those you are supporting are at ease.

Requirements:
To apply as a Support Worker you must have a PVG certificate or be willing to obtain prior to employment. SSSC membership is beneficial however not essential for starting the position. You must have right to work in the UK and be able to provide two references for previous UK experience.
