What You’ll Be Doing
Forget the buzzwords. Here’s what your day might actually look like:

Helping someone plan a weekly shop – and encouraging them to choose the healthier cereal

Making a cup of tea and offering quiet reassurance during a tough moment

Assisting with personal care in a way that feels respectful, dignified, and unrushed

Supporting someone on a walk to their favourite café – and seeing their face light up when staff know their name

Promoting calm, positive routines in shared living spaces

Keeping clear notes so everyone stays on the same page – and the person at the centre of it all continues to get the right support

This is real care – practical, emotional, everyday support that adds up to a better life.

The Details
Rotational shifts (early, back, night, sleepovers) – it’s a 24/7 service, and you’re part of a team that always shows up

You’ll support adults in homely, shared properties – this isn’t an institution; it’s where people live, and you’re helping it feel like home

What You Bring
Experience in care is great – but attitude is everything

You’re kind, patient, and calm under pressure

You’re comfortable with personal care and understand the importance of emotional support

You’re a communicator – with clients, with colleagues, with families

You’re willing to complete training and register with the SSSC (we’ll guide you through it)

Driving is a bonus, but not essential. Epilepsy and medication training? Great – or we’ll provide it.

What You’ll Get
£12.60 per hour, paid weekly

Enhanced rates of up to £16.80 for nights and weekends (after 12 weeks)
