Job Description:
We are currently seeking two compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to work for an existing client who is looking to expand their team. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals with complex needs. Those needs will include Autism, Learning difficulties and challenging behaviours. You will work closely with individuals to help them achieve their goals, maintain their independence, and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
· Support clients with mobility and transportation as needed.
· Assist with light housekeeping and ensure a clean and safe environment.
· Offer companionship and emotional support.
· Document and report client progress and any changes in their condition.
· Be able to participate in outdoor activities.
Requirements:
· 6 months paid UK experience in care giving or Support Work.
· Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· SVQ3 an advantage or willingness to work towards.
· Fluent in English
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: From £11.50 p/hour depending on level of experience (SVQ3 starting from £12.95)
Schedule:
Vacancy 1 – 36 hours per week 8am to 8pm
3 days weekly, over 4 weeks’ pay period. To include some weekend work.
Vacancy 2- 1 person 36 hours per week 8am to 6pm, and 4- 10pm
over 4 weeks’ pay period. To include some weekend work.
