Our client is a 24/7 mental health care at home and housing support service. They support individuals living with severe and enduring mental health conditions, helping them lead fulfilled lives and achieve their goals through emotional, social, and practical support.

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing a person-centered approach, using recovery-focused interventions to help individuals develop the skills and support networks necessary for independent living and maintaining a tenancy in the community.

We are currently looking for highly experienced support workers to join our team. If you have a background in providing emotional and practical support to people with various support needs, we want to hear from you. We are especially interested in candidates with experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.

What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in mental health or social care is essential. Experience in report writing, assessing client needs, and developing professional support plans is highly desirable
Qualifications: An SVQ Level II in Social Care or equivalent is highly desirable. However, what matters most is your attitude and values
Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, a mature and caring attitude, and great people skills
Personality: Honest, reliable, and resilient in challenging situations
Flexibility: Able to work various hours as needed

Requirements:
PVG Membership: You will need to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme
SSSC Registration: Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is required
