Support Workers provide care and assistance in all aspects of life from getting up in the morning to getting involved in hobbies and activities. ASA are looking for passionate Support Workers to work with one of our clients based in Elgin. This is a hugely varied position and there is no one size fits all job description, some typical duties may include;

· Offering daily support to individuals with a range of health conditions, disabilities and learning difficulties
· Aspects of personal care depending on individual needs
· Getting involved with activities or trips into the community
· Support with household tasks including at mealtimes
· Encouraging independence in all aspects of daily life

Being a Support Worker with ASA you will have access to a range of shifts that vary in length; some may be 2 hours while others are 7 hours. Lone working may be required so you should be reliable and feel comfortable working individually with high levels of self-motivation. Experience with working with epilepsy would be beneficial however training can be provided. ASA can offer pay rates of £10.50 to £11.50 per hour depending on shift day and time.

Applicants will be required to update an existing PVG or apply for a new PVG if not already held. You must have right to work in the UK and be able to provide two UK based references. This position is based in Elgin therefore you must be able to travel to and work in this area of Moray. Due to the length of some shifts, applicants in the local area would be beneficial.
