As a Support Worker empowering people with a range of disabilities including physical and mental, you will be someone that can recognise the strengths and potential of an individual, and takes real pride in providing encouragement and guidance.

We are currently looking for Support Workers in the East Renfrewshire area including Johnston, Paisley, Eldersie and Bridge of Weir.

This is an interesting and motivating role; no two days will be the same. Your duties could include things such as assisting an individual with buying a gift for a family birthday, advising on household budgeting and bills, providing advice on new clothes or taking a trip to the seaside!

You will largely be working directly with service users; implementing personal support plans and improving quality of day to day life.

You will be required to ensure the smooth running of the facility, this may include doing rotas and other administration.

This position may require medication to be administered when required. Staff will be fully familiarised with each service prior to being left alone.

With a variety of shifts available including days, nights and sleepovers, we have vacancies to suit all lifestyles.

A driving licence is preferred due to many service users being car owners, but there are opportunities for non-drivers.

Full time opportunities available for those with SVQ2 (or equivalent).

Opportunities for temporary leading to permanent roles are available for those with no experience, if you are looking for a career change!
