Description

ASA is currently working with a large scale client in the public sector who is looking to recruit a Service Management officer to join their team base in Glasgow on a hybrid basis.

Looking for someone who can proactively and re-actively identify and quantify areas of ‘quick win’ service improvement and manage/coordinate the delivery of these improvements and the benefits arising. This role has a specific focus on ‘channel shift’ activities, primarily involving an AI Service Management client (Amelia) and the rollout of a new Service Management portal (ServiceNow) by our IT service providers.

Job Activities:
· Rotate through a number of Departments on a 3-monthly cycle to identify where Amelia (AI client) could be used to alleviate issues.
· Identify and help to realise benefits from the implementation of ServiceNow.
· Monitor trends in calls and requests and performance, intervening and pulling together short-life working groups as required.
· Assist with general Service Management issues as required.
· Work with other Change Now work streams to help implement service-specific improvements.
Qualifications:
· Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in IT, business management, or related field.
· Certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are advantageous.
Experience:
· Familiarity with ITSM (IT Service Management) processes and frameworks.
· Exposure to incident management, problem management, change management, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Project management skills and experience would be beneficial.
