Senior Delivery Manager

Are you a Senior Delivery Manager looking to be involved in something daring and ground-breaking, which makes people’s lives better? Our client is taking problems within the public sector and solving them by collaboratively working with forward thinking business. If you would like to be involved in a ‘tech revolution’ then this Senior Delivery Manager role may be for you. Working remotely but usually based in Edinburgh, this contract is initially until 31st March 2021 with the possibility of an extension to March 2022.

Essential experience:
· Successful Business Case development experience, especially in regard to programmes proposing significant scaling: working and advising the Programme Director to further develop the Business Case currently in a draft long form, requiring both refining, editing, and further development in a number of areas
· Good knowledge/experience/understanding and appreciation of the financial considerations around Business Cases: this work will require good financial modelling skills, and a high degree of competence in associated applications
· Knowledge/experience/understanding in regard to Financial Transactions, particularly in regard to their use in capital investment, including legal and financial considerations
· Good knowledge/experience/understanding in regard to digital, tech and innovation and the opportunities these represent: both broadly, and in regard to digital transformation within the public sector
· Working with key units within the Scottish Government to ensure the Business Case is developed with all appropriate contributions, is robust and meets all requirements
· Experience in identifying and on-boarding partners, and securing financial commitment for the ongoing delivery of the programme
