Description

Embark on a rewarding journey as a Justice Social Worker in Stirling. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the field of Justice Social Work, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Join our team for an approx 12-week placement where you’ll play a crucial role in providing assessment reports for the Court and Parole Board. If you possess a degree in Social Work, appropriate registration with SSSC, and experience in Justice social work, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements:
· Degree in Social Work.
· Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
· Full UK driving license (essential).
· Knowledge of Swift preferred.
· Experience in Justice social work.
· Essential: CJSWR writing, LSCMI trained, experience writing reports for the Parole Board (preferably TARL trained).
· Desirable: SA07, RM2K, Sara V3.
· PVG (Adults) disclosure required.
Job Details:
· Pay Rate: £26-£35 per hour.
· Hours: 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hybrid working policy in place. Flexibility is required for essential visits and office work.
Job Purpose/Statement: The Justice Social Worker role is pivotal in providing assessment reports for the Court and Parole Board due to staffing shortages. This position contributes to service delivery, ensuring timely responses to statutory work in Justice Social Work.
Responsibilities:
· Provide assessment reports for the Court and Parole Board.
· Fulfil statutory work requirements within Justice Social Work.
· Develop case management plans and risk assessments.
· Collaborate effectively within a team.
· Undertake essential visits to individual’s homes, prisons, hospitals, and office as directed.
· Utilise pool car for all business mileage.
Key Tasks:
· Undertake assessments and interventions as per service needs.
· Develop case management plans and risk assessments.
· Collaborate within a team to ensure effective service delivery.
· Perform any other tasks and duties as directed by the Team Leader.
