Our Client is seeking an experienced People and Wellbeing Partner to provide professional, effective, and holistic HR support during a period of organisational development and cultural enhancement. This role plays a key part in embedding trauma-informed, values-led practice across the organisation, while supporting our people through high-quality HR and wellbeing initiatives.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels, providing early advice, developing policies, and supporting wellbeing, engagement, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a compassionate and purpose-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive HR advice and support across wellbeing, health and safety, conduct, capability, absence, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with staff, panel, and board members, promoting an open and supportive culture.
  • Develop and implement people policies, procedures, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with legislation and best practice.
  • Coordinate and manage casework, ensuring fair, consistent, and values-based resolution of people issues.
  • Support change management and continuous improvement through data analysis, reporting, and benchmarking.
  • Work collaboratively with external partners such as occupational health, EAP, and benefits providers.
  • Ensure digital efficiency through accurate record-keeping and HR system management (People First).
  • Handle all matters with sensitivity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience providing professional HR guidance and case management in areas including wellbeing, conduct, and performance.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practice, and wellbeing frameworks.
  • Experience drafting policies, procedures, and reports, with strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Access) and confidence with digital systems to support hybrid working.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders, including survivors and external partners.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice or willingness to develop knowledge in this area.
  • Relevant qualification in Personnel Management or equivalent experience.
  • CIPD membership (or commitment to ongoing CPD).

Desirable

  • Awareness of the work of Redress Scotland and the experiences of survivors of historical abuse in care.
  • Previous experience within the public, third, or trauma-related sector.

If you are an empathetic and experienced HR professional who is passionate about wellbeing and cultural development, apply now, we would love to hear from you.
