Organisational and Workforce Development (OWD) Assistant

ASA Recruitment on behalf of our client

ASA Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Organisational and Workforce Development (OWD) Assistant to join our client’s team. The main purpose of this role is to support the OWD Team in developing and delivering key projects that enhance the client’s culture and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and scheduling of events and activities.
Support the development and delivery of OWD projects.
Ensure that the client’s culture is aligned with performance improvement goals.
Maintain high standards of work, attention to detail, and actively seek continuous improvement.
Work co-operatively and supportively within the team, sharing information and maintaining confidentiality as appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educated to Standard Grade level; Degree level or equivalent preferred.
CIPD qualified or working towards.
Experience in an OD/HR/L&D function.
Events planning and coordination experience.
Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.
Experience with Cornerstone or other learning management systems.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
Strong communicator, both verbally and in written form.
Understanding of Equal Opportunity issues and a commitment to respecting and valuing diversity.
Ability to select appropriate communication styles and methods depending on the audience’s needs and abilities.
Demonstrates initiative within own area of expertise, prioritising workloads and working to deadlines.
Ability to work co-operatively, contributing to and supporting the team’s work and decisions.
Values and utilises the skills, knowledge, and experience of others.

Additional Information:

Hybrid working arrangement with a requirement to attend the office in person 2 days per week.
Standard Disclosure required.
Initial contract: Late July for 3 months, with an option to extend for up to 2 x 3 months thereafter.
