LGV Driver

Description

ASA Rectruitment are working alongside our public sector client and have a temporary requirement for a Class 2 driver for a temporary contract of 6-8 weeks initially.

Based in Portree, your duties will include:

• Safe driving of Refuse vehicles transporting waste to a designated facility
• Providing guidance to the crew working in the vehicle
• Conducing pre and post vehicle safety checks
• Delivery and uplift of waste bins, litter bins and recycling bins
• Safe collection and disposal of fly tipping and bulky items

Experience required:

• Possession of a Class 2 LGV license and ideally CPC Qualification
• Previous experience of working as a Class 2 Driver
• A sound knowledge of current Health & Safety procedures
• First class customer service skills
