Job Title: Kitchen Porter
Locations: Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Inverkeithing, Cowdenbeath, and Cupar
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour | £16 per hour on weekends (after 12 weeks)

Fast-paced, team-focused, and essential – as a Kitchen Porter, you’ll keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s in schools, care homes, or local authority venues, you’ll play a vital part in making sure kitchens are clean, organised, and ready for action.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping kitchen areas spotless – cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment.

• Washing pots, pans, trays, and utensils efficiently and thoroughly.

• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation where needed.

• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal safely.

• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential.

• A strong work ethic and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

• A team player who communicates well and gets stuck in.

• Essential: A valid PVG for working with adults and/or children.

• The right to work in the UK.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
