IT Security Engineer

Are you an IT Security Engineer looking for an exciting role with Scotlands Largest Public Sector Client?

ASA are please to be working with the Scottish Government to source an experienced and highly capable IT Security Engineer.

What would be your main Outcomes and objectives in this role?

• Completion of deployment and moving into the continued maintenance of a
• Network Access Control (NAC) solution (ForeScout) to orchestrate and control
• network, server, and endpoint connections, as well as implementation of NAC
• modules, such as segmentation and threat feed integrations as required.
• * Deployment and maintenance of Endpoint Detection and Response solution
• (Cortex XDR), ensuring full estate coverage and protection.
• * Document all configurations to ensure product longevity, product support stability,
• as well as developing playbooks and processes to support this.
• * Assist with the technical delivery of a Security Orchestration, Automation and
• Response (Cortex XSOAR) toolset

What are we looking for?

The successful applicant will have had experience of:

* Managing Network and Security services with complex solutions and toolsets with
particular focus in the following areas:
o Network Access Control solutions
o Endpoint Detection and Response solutions
o Security Orchestration, Automation and Response solutions
o Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions
o Web Application Firewall Implementation and Management
o Cyber Security Incident Response processes
o Networking
o Firewalls
o Vulnerability Management
* Working within an Agile delivery model, such as Scrum Sprints and/or Kanban
* Relevant industry certifications (or equivalent experience)
