Are you an experienced Senior Planner looking for a new opportunity?

Our well know public sector client are looking for a well-practiced and qualified Senior Planner to provide their planning expertise to support the development of Scotland’s Fourth National Planning Framework (NPF4) and other related strategies and policies. This role is for an initial 5 month contract with the option to extend working from home.

Key responsibilities:
· Support the development of new planning policies on energy, environment, development planning and housing for inclusion on the NPF4
· Handling day to day enquires, briefing requests, correspondence and input to related workstreams
· Support the delivery of Scotland’s Fourth National Planning Framework

Essential Requirements:
· Degree or equivalent level qualification in town and country planning
· Professional membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
· Town planning experience
· Knowledge and understanding of the provisions of the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019

Specialist experience in:
· Energy
· Environment
· Development Planning
· Housing
