GIS Data Analyst

Are you an experienced GIS Specialist looking for an exciting new contract in Edinburgh?

Our public sector client is undergoing a large transformation in order to be a world leader in how they shape places for the wellbeing of their people.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team on this journey and must be a self-starter who is keen to help policy makers understand and use geospatial data to forge better outcomes for Scottish people in social, health, economic and environmental fields.

Requirements:

· Experience in developing GIS datasets and maintenance of asset data
· GIS data capture and data transfer
· Experience in using OS MasterMap
· Spatial ETL/GTL
· QGIS/Arcgis or similar
· Analysis of GIS and related data
· A Basic Disclosure Certificate

Ideally you will have knowledge of the planning system and a background of working in the Public Sector.
