General Operative

Description

Are you reliable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our client is looking for a motivated General Operative to join their friendly and dynamic team based in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
Working within a recycling compound in a large industrial market area
Processing and loading various waste streams (cardboard, wood, and other recyclables) into skips or compactors
Performing general cleaning duties within the compound
Helping to collect and move waste or rubbish from around the market
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Following all on-site health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:
Punctual, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work
Comfortable with manual handling and physical activity
Flexible to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends
A team player with strong communication skills
