Funding Manager

Description

Our high profile public sector client is looking for a Funding Manager to support their team with funding applications as they go through a period of renewal.

You will work with the team to develop an integrated approach to funding and ensure a seamless transition into the new funding process.

This is a contract position based in Edinburgh and expected to go on for an initial 8 month period.

Responsibilities:

· Review current grant mechanisms and processes in place in the division
· Develop proposals for a restructured funding stream
· Manage recommendations for grant management workflows
· Develop and test proposals with key stakeholders to ensure that fund outcomes are deliverable
· Launch and promote the funding stream to existing and potential funding recipients
· Manage queries related to the funding stream
· Manage and deliver the application and support process
· Develop and deliver application assessment process, including a feedback mechanism for successful and unsuccessful applicants

Requirements:

· Experience of managing a grant making process for public or private sector
· Experience of working collaboratively across public service organisation to deliver shared objectives
· A high level of analytical skills with experience of collating a wide range of information from diverse sources to distil key messages
· The ability to communicate well with leaders, stakeholders and staff at all levels
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
