Enviromental Health Officer

Description

ASA Recruitment have an opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer based in Fort William. The role is intially for 3 months.

The key responsibilities will be a generalist EHO with a focus on delivery of the Food Safety Inspection Programme.

Other duties may include:

• Inspecting businesses to check they meet health and hygiene standards investigating complaints about noise, pests and other environmental health problems
• Attending environmental health incidents and following up with further investigations to make sure that those responsible are held to account
• Advising employers about matters of environmental health keeping records and compiling reports
• Serving legal notices liaising with other organisations.
