PVG Cleaner

ASA Recruitment are currently looking for experienced PVG Cleaners who are interested in joining Scotland’s largest independent recruitment organisation. We are working to support one of our long-standing clients – a local care home in the Stonehaven area of Aberdeen. You will be joining a strong cleaning team who are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hygiene within the care home. Shifts are either 0800-1400 or 1400-2000.

Responsibilities include;

• General cleaning of communal areas within the building
• Cleaning of residents’ rooms and any ensuite facilities
• Restocking of consumables such as sanitiser, soap and toilet roll etc
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals and solutions following COSHH regulations
• Efficient working to cleaning schedule time frame

To be considered for this role you should be;

• Willing to apply for new or updated PVG for Adults for working with ASA
• Experienced in cleaning in a Healthcare environment
• Confident in handling cleaning materials and equipment
• A team player who can be motivated to complete tasks individually with little supervision
• Available to work in Stonehaven – consider public transport access if necessary

In joining ASA for this Cleaner position we can offer you complete flexibility to work when it suits your availability – you will have access to your unique online diary system where you can tell us when you are available to work. Our current pay rate for this position is £10.90 per hour for week day shifts and £14.47 per hour for weekend shifts. You will also build up a holiday balance for every hour you work from your very first shift. Our consultants are on hand, even with an out of hours service for evenings and weekends, so are ready to support you though every step of your work journey with ASA.
