Great opportunities within East Lothian for cleaners are now available with ASA Recruitment. You will work within care homes for the elderly in and around East Lothian making sure the cleanliness of the building is kept at a prestige level.

Your day to day duties will include cleaning elderly residents rooms while using equipment safely. You will also be expected to clean the hallways, receptions and dining rooms. Making sure all bins are emptied and that you are managing the waste efficiently.

The benefits of this job are that you start on a competitive salary of £9.50 rising to £9.91 after you have completed 12 weeks of work. You will be able to choose a schedule that’s best for you using eCruit, this allows you to pick your availability and un availability. You will accrue holiday pay the more you work, this means that the more you work the more paid holiday you will receive. Lastly, you will have a team of dedicated consultants within the ASA office helping you with any questions you may have.

You will be required to have an adult PVG and the correct PPE equipment. A successful candidate will be able to do all of the above to a high standard consistently while maintaining a kind and approachable persona.
