Job Description: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef de partie to oversee and develop their food offerings and services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in their staff restaurant, driving commercial initiatives, innovation, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery and development of food offerings and services
  • Ensure prompt and efficient preparation and service of food to company standards and client satisfaction.
  • Promote healthy eating, well-being, and employee satisfaction.
  • Organise and assist in the preparation and presentation of meals to meet required standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared with attention to Allergen Management.
  • Work hands-on within the kitchen team daily.
  • Minimise kitchen waste.
  • Maintain positive relationships with individuals at all levels within the company and client organisation.
  • Monitor financial performance and maintain costs within budget targets.
  • Maintain standards and integrity of service offerings.
  • Conduct daily service audits and pre-service briefings.
  • Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Ensure required risk assessments and due diligence documentation are in place to pass Safeguard audits.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations, including HR, H&S, Food Safety, Safe Working Practices, Fire, COSHH, and HACCP.
  • Engage, motivate, and reward employees to ensure job satisfaction at all levels.
  • Take necessary actions in the event of accidents, fires, loss, theft, unfit food, or other irregularities, completing necessary reports.
  • Attend meetings and training courses as requested.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and allergen management.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Passion for culinary excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
