Chef – all levels

ASA are currently looking for Chefs of all levels to support our range of clients across venues in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Joining ASA as a Chef can give you opportunities to work with well known companies including hotels, events venues, restaurants and cafes. Work can cover anything from Commis Chef all the way through to Head Chef and Chef Manager. If you are looking to progress your kitchen career, gain some varied experience and have the flexibility to work when it suits you – ASA could be the one for you. All experience will be considered.

To join ASA as a Chef you must have Food Hygiene and Allergens Certificates, any additional Cookery qualification beneficial. We are looking for reliable and committed candidates who will always perform to the highest standard.

Responsibilities can vary depending on placement however can typically involve:
· Supervising and managing other members of the kitchen team
· Contributing to menu planning and generating new ideas and visions
· Managing orders and stock levels
· Cooking and plating meals to a consistently high standards

In return, ASA can offer competitive pay rates from £13 per hour relating to experience, depending on the particular shift and client you will work with. With ASA you will also accrue holiday pay from your very first shift and have the opportunity for paid time off. You can build experience and relationships with our wide range of clients, making good connections for potential permanent roles. Our consultants are on hand to support you while working for ASA 7 days a week and are ready to make sure you have the best experience possible.
