Job Title: Agency Cook
Locations: Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Inverkeithing, Cowdenbeath, Cupar & Dundee
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour | £16 per hour on weekends (after 12 weeks)

We’re looking for passionate Agency Cooks to bring their culinary skills to kitchens across Fife. Whether it’s in care homes, schools, or local authority sites, you’ll be preparing wholesome, tasty meals that make a difference in your community. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love creating quality dishes, this is your next move.

What You’ll Be Cooking Up

• Preparing and cooking delicious meals, tailored to a variety of dietary needs including texture-modified diets.
• Keeping the kitchen safe, clean, and running smoothly.
• Managing kitchen stock and ordering supplies when needed.
• Staying cool under pressure while delivering high standards, every time.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations to the letter – safety first, flavour second (but still very important!).

What We’re Looking For

• Strong cooking skills and an understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements.
• Valid Food Hygiene and Food Allergen certificates.
• Attention to detail and creativity in your cooking.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• The ability to work independently and flexibly across various kitchens in Fife.
• Confidence in managing your own prep and service in a busy environment.
• Essential: Right to work in the UK. PVG for working with adults and/or children required.
