We are currently seeking experienced and passionate cooks to join our team on a temporary basis, working across various care homes in Glasgow. This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, reliable, and have a genuine interest in providing nutritious and delicious meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of care home residents

Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with dietary requirements, including low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free, and other specialised diets.
· Plan and prepare menus that are nutritious, appealing, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
· Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
· Work collaboratively with care home staff to meet the individual needs of residents.
· Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
· Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a cook in a care home, hospital, or similar environment.
· Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and restrictions.
· Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a wide range of meals.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
· Valid Food Hygiene & Allergen Certificate.
