Chef / Cook Opportunities – Care Homes Across Fife

Are you a skilled Chef or Cook looking for a role where your culinary talent makes a real difference? ASA Recruitment is seeking passionate food professionals to join care homes across Fife, including Dunfermline, Leven, Kirkcaldy, Auchtertool, Falkland, and surrounding areas.

This is your opportunity to create comforting, home-style meals that bring joy to residents, all while enjoying a supportive team and a better work-life balance. Experience in home baking is a bonus, but not essential – what matters most is your love of cooking and enthusiasm to make a difference.

We’re especially interested in candidates available for 20+ hours per week, with many placements offering the chance to move into a permanent role.

• Competitive pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour

Your role will include:

• Preparing and serving nutritious, delicious meals for residents

• Designing menus to meet a variety of dietary needs

• Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards

• Creating warm, enjoyable mealtimes for residents

Requirements:

• PVG membership, or willingness to join the PVG scheme

• Passion for cooking and delivering high-quality food

• Friendly, professional, and reliable attitude

• Preferred: availability for 20+ hours per week
