We are seeking a talented, passionate and caring individual looking to spread the joys of good food.

As a Cook with ASA Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills across a range of social care environments.
As a Cook in our social care settings, your duties will include taking charge yourself, in leading the kitchen team to prepare healthy and nutritious seasonal meals for our residents as well as catering for those with any specialist dietary requirements. So, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to put your interest and passion for food to good use.

Responsibilities include:
· Preparing, cooking, and serving food.
· Always Maintaining the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness.
· Using the appropriate cooking utensils & equipment.
· Following COSHH regulations.
· Ensuring all required products are stocked up.
· Following the correct food handling and health and safety procedures.
· Ensuring that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.

Essential requirements
· Proven experience as a Chef in a variety of kitchen settings.
· Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience.
· Strong adaptability and quick learning in fast-paced environments.
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
