Catering Assistants / Kitchen Porters Required – Care Homes Across Fife

£13.45 per hour | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Opportunities

Locations Available: Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Leven, Lumphinnans, Cupar and surrounding areas

ASA Recruitment is currently recruiting Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters to support a range of care home services throughout Fife. These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in maintaining high standards within a busy kitchen environment.

Working within care homes, you will help ensure residents receive nutritious meals while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can commit to 20 hours or more per week, with many placements offering the opportunity of permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with food preparation and meal service

* Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas

* Washing dishes, utensils, and catering equipment

* Supporting cooks and kitchen teams during busy service periods

* Following food hygiene, health and safety, and care home procedures

Requirements:

* Previous kitchen, catering, cleaning, or hospitality experience is advantageous

* A positive and reliable approach to work

* Good communication and teamwork skills

* PVG membership or willingness to join the scheme

* Availability for regular weekly shifts
