Are you a Chartered Surveyor looking for a new challenge?

ASA Recruitment are looking to source a Chartered Surveyor to take on a Senior Officer (Estates) role within a large local council. This role is suitable for candidates based in the Glasgow and Ayrshire area.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Carry out the functions of a general practice surveyor within the Estates section for the effective delivery of a valuation, surveying and land agency service to internal and external clients
• Assist in the day-to-day management of the Council’s land and property portfolio
• Carry out valuations and provide a land agency and surveying service
• Negotiate terms of lease and valuation of miscellaneous land and buildings

So, what are we looking for?

• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Registered Valuer
• Degree level education, with suitable work experience
• Experience in dealing with property related issues and valuation work
• Experience of managing a commercial portfolio, undertaking rent review and lease renewal negotiations
