ASA Recruitment are now looking for an experienced Catering Manager to join a 60 bedded residential home based in Edinburgh for a minimum of 10 weeks contract.
As a Catering Manager your main responsibilities will be:

– Build a good relationship with clients and staff.
– Manage budgets and maintain financial and administrative records.
– Supervise and motivate permanent and temporary staff, in line with Company and Client policies.
– Lead the time for administration, recruitment and payroll requirement. Also planning talent succession. Overseeing training requirements to meet legislation and best practise.
– Ensure the best products and service are being provided.

The ideal candidate will have the following requirements:

– Previous experience in operations management within the healthcare sector.
– Good communications and time management skills
– The capacity to keep calm and lead the team in stressful circumstances
– Have an excellent understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure these are strictly observed and recorded across the site.

With an offered hourly rate of £12, the full time position (40 hours a week Monday to Friday) also entitle you to holiday accrual since the start date.
