Catering Assistant

ASA Recruitment are currently looking for Catering Assistant to fulfil permanent role with our client based in Newbridge, Edinburgh.

We are looking for a enthusiastic individual who can hit the ground running. Our client has a staff kitchen requiring evening cover within their industrial business at the west of the city.

Key responsibilities would be:
– Ensuring the food serving areas are clean and hygienic.
– Customer focused/ money handling.
– Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
– Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
– Basic cooking experience would be essential.
– Working independently.

All applicants should have:
– At least 6 months UK experience in a similar role.
– A good work ethic, with clean and tidy presentation and work in a clean as you go manner.
– Flexibility towards work and preferably your own transport.

In return, our client will offer you:
– An hourly pay rate of £8.50, paid weekly.
– Shifts would be 5.30pm to 11.30pm.
– Sunday to Thursday.
– 30 hours a week.
– Immediate start available.
