We have shifts available in Lochgelly, Cowdenbeath, Leven , Dunfermline, and Crossgate’s, with typical shift hours running from 10:00am to 6:00pm – perfect for those who value work-life balance.

About the Role:
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer service at all times. You’ll be working closely with kitchen staff and care home teams to deliver nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, safe environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

· Assisting with basic food preparation and plating meals

· Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment

· Washing dishes and general cleaning duties

· Following all food hygiene and safety guidelines

· Occasionally helping with food service to residents

· What We’re Looking For:
· Previous experience in a catering assistant role or hospitality environment

· Strong teamwork and communication skills

· Good knowledge of food hygiene standards

· Excellent personal hygiene and a professional attitude

· Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to hit the ground running

Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months’ worth of references (one must be from your most recent employer)

You must be a PVG Scheme member, or willing to apply – ASA can assist with this process

Flexibility to travel to different care home locations if required
