Position: Catering Assistant
Location: St Andrews, Local Authority School
Hours: 10:00 am – 14:30 pm, Monday to Friday
PVG Required: Yes, for Adults and Children

Responsibilities:
· Meal Preparation: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
· Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience for all.
· Hygiene Standards: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

Requirements:
· Previous experience in a catering or food service role is advantageous but not essential.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding hygiene and safety standards.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Must possess or be willing to obtain a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certification for both adults and children.
· Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service and contributing to the well-being of students and staff.
