Care Assistant – Falkland

Shifts: 08:00-20:00 | 20:00-08:00 | Full-time & part-time hours available
Location: Falkland, Fife

ASA Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to work with our respected client in Falkland, delivering high-quality care in a residential setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated individuals with a passion for person-centred support and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high standards of care and support in line with individual care plans

Assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily routines

Supporting residents’ emotional, psychological and social wellbeing

Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for every individual

Ensuring care delivery meets regulatory and internal quality standards

Communicating effectively with service users, colleagues, and families

Maintaining accurate records including care notes, medication logs, and incident reports

Contributing to activities, outings and social engagement opportunities

Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the care environment

Reporting concerns and safeguarding issues promptly and appropriately

What We’re Looking For:
A caring, compassionate, and reliable individual with strong values

Previous experience in a care setting is preferred

Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure

Flexibility to work day and night shifts

A good understanding of adult protection and safeguarding

PVG Scheme membership (or willing to update/join)

Registered or willing to register with the SSSC
