Care Assistant

Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in the Dunfermline and Lumphinans area. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.

Location: Dunfermline and Lumphinans Area, Scotland

Shift Patterns:

Early Shift: 07:30 am – 15:00 pm
Late Shift: 14:30 pm – 22:00 pm
Night Shift: 21:45 pm – 07:45 am

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Supporting patients with mobility and transfers.
Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements:

SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) registration.
Minimum of 6 months of paid care experience.
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
Compassionate and caring nature.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
