Description

Our client in Aberdeen are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant who will be responsible for the administration and processing of Parking Penalty Charge Notices and Bus Lane Charge Notice Appeals issued throughout the city. The postholder will also assist with the administration of the staff and contractors permit schemes and voucher parking scheme and while dealing with customers on a daily basis be expected to deliver outstanding customer service by answering queries as the first point of contact

The typical working week will be 37 hours over Monday – Friday with a rate of £9.76 per hour PAYE plus holiday accrual

Key Tasks of the Post:

* Administration of parking and bus lane appeals
* Process parking penalty charge notices
* Process bus lane charge notices
* Answer parking and bus lane appeals queries from customers
* Maintain accurate records and keep relevant databases up to date
* Process payments, refunds and invoices
* Administer permit schemes

Minimum Requirements for the Role:

* Good numeracy, analytical and reasoning skills
* Proven ability to compose and write letters
* Experience with a range of IT packages
* Ability to work to conflicting and demanding deadlines
* Be committed to delivering an excellent customer experience

Additional Requirements to be undertaken:

* Protecting Children (on-line training module)
* Data Protection (on-line training module)
* Freedom of Information (on-line training module)
* Ongoing updating of skills on relevant computer software
