Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a role that can see you add value to a crucial Public Service?

Our Glasgow based client are look for an administrator to join their team on an initial 3 month contract. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and an organised individual and will provide office support services and an efficient customer focused service to support the smooth running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel Bookings – Manage complex travel and accommodation needs using online systems, coordinating with travellers and providers to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Meeting Room Administration – Handle room booking requests, set up/clear rooms, arrange catering, and produce reports for third parties
  • Office Services – Ensure smooth operation of office services and manage supply procurement in line with procedures
  • Reception – Provide full reception services, handle phone/visitor enquiries, greet visitors professionally and manage mail distribution
  • Office Security – Follow safety protocols, maintain accurate records of access cards, issue staff ID badges as needed

Key Applicant Requirements

  • Proven experience in frontline customer service, ideally within office support services
  • Ability to work flexibly in a busy multidisciplinary environment, adapting to rapidly changing situations
  • Skilled in independent and team-based work, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication and influencing skills both within the team and across the wider organisation
  • Physically capable of handling tasks such as room setups and catering services
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
  • Understanding and appreciation of the need for discretion and confidentiality
  • Highly developed customer service skills, with a helpful, flexible attitude
  • Proven expertise in using Microsoft 365

Applicants should note that travel to the Edinburgh office may be required on occasion. Interview will take place on Friday 11th and Monday 14th October so candidates will need to be available on one of these days if selected.
