IT Support Analyst

Description

Our public sector client is currently looking for IT Support Analysts to join their team in Edinburgh. The contracts will start in mid October and run until early January 2020.

These Support Analysts should Provide a dedicated Technical IT Support to SCOTS Users during the EU exit period. Using the iFix system to respond to requests for IT Support in chronological order and within an agreed Service Level.
To accurately record incident and change actions and their associated resolution and to effectively manage each personally assigned incident/change.
To re-install software and rebuild the SCOTS Workstations, Laptops and Tablets. Experience in PowerShell utilisation, SCCM administration/utilisation and Documenting of guidance and known fixes.
Work closely with colleagues and internal, external suppliers.

Essential Skills required:
– Microsoft Office 2016.
– User Experience Virtualisation (UEV).
– Planning, organising, and prioritising day to day tasks to deliver services on time and to agreed service outcomes.
– Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative, to achieve agreed objectives.

Desirable Skills required:
– PowerShell
– MCP Accredited
– ITIL qualified
– Full driver’s license

Please note this role requires a Basic Disclosure and core hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
