Are you a law graduate with a strong academic record founded in research and analysis?

ASA are looking for a Research Assistant to join a high profile public sector organisation in Edinburgh for an initial 4 month contract.

Responsibilities:

· Work directly with a number of different solicitors and support staff
· Legal research and writing
· Assist analysis and scrutiny of legislation relating to EU withdrawal
· Attend staff meetings and report back with any evidence discussed
· Support solicitors in preparing briefings
· Assist the legislation team with research
· Research areas of current EU law

Requirements:

· Scots Law Honours Degree 2:1 or higher
· A strong academic record in research and analysis
· Excellent communication skills
· Have a passion for law and its impact on people
